Ramakrishnan.S, better known as Ramky, is Senior Vice President at Apollo Hospitals. He is a Chartered Accountant by profession and has worked in organizations like SB Billimoria, Eicher, Shriram, Lumax, Bharti Airtel, IBM, MARG and Colorhomes. He has over 25 years of experience in creating and recreating systems having carried out roles in, Finance, Strategic planning, Operations & Customer service.
He has realized that it is not expansion of financial capital productivity but it is the expansion of Human capital productivity that can build an organisation and sustain business in the long run. To him a Leader is one who LEADs Energetically Resources while a Manager is one who MANAGE Resources. So he felt a CEO should actually be called Chief Energising Officer as the leader has to exhibit high energy to create and recreate people.
He strongly feels that to build business & organisation a combination of PE (Professional entrepreneur) has to be created, who thinks like a professional and feels like an entrepreneur. In that sense he likes to be known as PE. He has always carried out challenging roles in finance or operations to help build a scalable business and organisation.
He has authored a self development book for professionals titled “ING – I Need Growth” in 2011 and “You can Become A Complete Manager” in year 2003. Recently he launched his third book “Lifeline” in November 2021.
